Glass Beadmaking - Guided Workshop (1-day)

Come make beads with us! Students will learn the basics of glass beadmaking, participating in an art form with nearly 30,000 years of history. Using Carlisle torches and Bullseye compatible glass, students will learn how to create round beads, square beads, and dot beads as they build comfort and control on the torch. This class will also cover general safety guidelines and bead cleaning. No experience necessary. After taking this workshop you will be eligible to work independently on our torches, and you will go home with an assortment of colorful glass rods to use in your future beadmaking projects! Torch rental is available by appointment. 

Guided Workshops are recommended for ages 16+
