Cyanotype Inspired: Floral Blocks - Guided Workshop

Create high-contrast layered floral images in glass with powdered frit and live foliage. In this workshop we will collect greenery from the garden or students can bring their own, to create three cyanotype-process inspired blocks. Students will learn the methods of kiln drying foliage, fossil vitra, layering thick slabs, and stenciling with plants. Finished products are three 4"x6" blocks.  

2-day workshop:

April 29th + April 30th 5:30pm-7:30pm

May 12th + May 13th 5:30pm-7:30pm

May 28th 5:30pm -7:30pm + May 30th 10:30am-12:30pm

June 18th 5:30pm -7:30pm + May 20th 10:30am-12:30pm
