Mimic the beauty of agate stone though glass in this new fused glass workshop. In this class, students will design and create a stunning glass bowl inspired by the natural patterns and layered colors of agate stones. Using sheet glass and frit, students will learn how to build organic bands, depth, and movement that mimic agate's signature look.
We'll cover color selection, pattern layout, and basic glass-cutting techniques, and design assembly for the kiln. After firing, the glass will be slumped into a bowl mold to create functional, sculptural pieces that are both durable and decorative.  

Guided Workshops are recommended for ages 16+

 

2-day workshop:

March 10th + 11th – 5:30pm-7:30pm
